On September 11, 2026, as part of the “Šventaragis” festival program “Let’s Dream of Vilnius Together,” Saulius Petreikis will present a special evening with his concert program “Rituals” (Lithuanian: Ritualai).

“Let’s Dream of Vilnius Together” is a new cultural initiative inviting everyone to experience the city through its legends, history, and vibrant contemporary creativity. Music, theater, education, discussions, and community experiences merge in this project into a living narrative about Vilnius—a city born from a dream.

Gediminas Hill – Where Music Becomes Real

It is no coincidence that Gediminas Castle Hill and the entire Šventaragis Valley were chosen as the venues for the festival events.

“The entire Šventaragis Valley and Gediminas Hill are permeated with legends and deep history. We may not know many facts about these places, but standing there, you can feel it all. To me, it is a special space. I feel that it is here that the album ‘Rituals’ can resonate most naturally and authentically,” says Saulius Petreikis.

The “Rituals” concert is not just a musical performance. In a program specially created for Gediminas Castle Hill, the audience will hear:

• Various world wind instruments;

• Improvisations and atmospheric sounds;

• Brass instrument arrangements that provide even more depth to the music.

The Album “Rituals”: A Connection with Self and the World

The album “Rituals” was born from a four-year-long creative process. It emphasizes the human connection with nature, internal transformation, memory, and our relationship with the world. According to Saulius Petreikis, rituals accompany our every day—from small habits to internal states and moments of silence.

“This place demands even more. It invites us to create an extraordinary concert—a kind of celebration, a transformation, and a live experience. This concert will combine more than twenty years of our musical journey,” the artist explains.
