An Acoustic Evening at the "Šventaragis" Festival

On September 10, 2026, a special evening will unfold on Gediminas Castle Hill—Giedrė’s concert will become a part of the "Šventaragis" festival program "Let's Dream of Vilnius Together." This is part of a new cultural initiative inviting everyone to experience the city through its legends, history, and a living connection with the present.

For this evening, the artist is preparing an acoustic program together with:

• Andrius Polevikovas (piano);

• Justas Kulikauskas (cello);

• Eglė Gadeikytė and Justė Kraujelytė (backing vocals).

Music Born from Respect for the Setting

According to Giedrė herself, the concert is born from a deep respect for the location and its atmosphere.

"I want to fill this space with my music, but in no way do I want to disturb it. A sacred peace must remain here, without fireworks or loud, crashing sounds," says Giedrė.

The performer refers to Gediminas Castle Hill as the heart of the city and an iconic landmark of Vilnius. According to her, music sounds different in such a space: "In reality, the venue always dictates how the songs will sound. And the audience itself brings a different energy to different spaces."

A Connection with the City and the Audience

The evening’s program will bring together a sensitive acoustic sound, the city’s horizons, and a sense of community. A vital part of this evening is the energetic exchange with the listeners. Giedrė has mentioned more than once that a concert is created not only by the musicians but also by the people who listen.

Vilnius holds a special place in the artist's creative work: "I am a Vilnius native. And I have never wanted to trade this city for another. Everything here is convenient, cozy, wonderfully beautiful, and feels like home," she shares.

This evening will be an invitation to stop, listen, and dream of the city together under the open sky. As Giedrė puts it: "Under these vaults, everyone feels like they belong and are welcome."
