Andrius Mamontovas „Su bičiuliais“

Celebrating is better with friends. On December 20, just a few days before Christmas, Andrius Mamontovas will perform his concert “Su bičiuliais” at the LVSO Concert Hall in Vilnius. The evening will feature his best-known songs as well as hits performed on major stages this year.

“Jūreivio daina”, “Marso kanjonai”, “Vieną kartą Paryžiuj”, “Saulės miestas”, “Tavo svajonė”, “Kitoks pasaulis” – these are just some of the songs that will be part of the evening’s programme. This time, they will take on a different atmosphere – more intimate, winter-inspired and specially suited to the concert hall setting.

On stage will be a four-member lineup that has never performed together in this exact formation before: Andrius Mamontovas, his son Andrius Mamontovas Jr. on drums, Eimantas Belickas on violin and keyboards, and Tomas Andrijauskas on bass guitar. The musicians have shared the stage with Andrius for many years, while Andrius Jr. has already become a regular member of his father’s band.

“At a concert, you hear music you love and at the same time see how it is born on stage – how people create it right before your eyes. For me, that has always been the greatest magic,” says Andrius Mamontovas.

Andrius Mamontovas’ winter concerts in Vilnius are already becoming a year-end tradition. Last December, his concert filled the LVSO Concert Hall to capacity. This year, the meeting takes on an even more special meaning – it will be one of Andrius Mamontovas’ final concerts before a longer break from the stage planned for next year.
